Why and how do we process your personal<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s12\"><b> <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><b>data?<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p22\"><span class=\"s9\">Purpose<\/span><span class=\"s12\"> <\/span><span class=\"s9\">of<\/span><span class=\"s12\"> <\/span><span class=\"s9\">the<\/span><span class=\"s12\"> <\/span><span class=\"s9\">processing<\/span><span class=\"s13\"> <\/span><span class=\"s9\">operation<\/span>:<span class=\"s4\"> <\/span>The<span class=\"s6\"> <\/span>Data<span class=\"s4\"> <\/span>Controller collects<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>and<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>uses<span class=\"s4\"> <\/span>your<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>personal<span class=\"s4\"> <\/span>data<span class=\"s4\"> <\/span>for the purposes of the visibility and promotion of EU-funded projects and programmes in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and<span class=\"s7\"> <\/span>Ukraine) directly linked with the EUDIGITOOL internal platform where most of the content automatically comes from.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p22\">Euneighbourseast.eu and the country websites are developed to respond to the need and demand for collating and consolidating project information presenting EU cooperation in action from a communication perspective enabling citizens to receive information about the EU-funded programmes and projects and EU-related opportunities in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) for the purposes of the visibility and promotion of EU-funded projects and programmes in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine), namely:.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p22\">The \u2018Young European Ambassadors\u2019 (YEAs) initiative<\/p>\n<p class=\"p22\">The YEAs initiative is part of the EU\u2019s strategic communication and public diplomacy approach to the Eastern Neighbourhood. The initiative is managed by the EU\u2019s Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood (2020-2024). The EU is partnering with young people in the Eastern partner countries to raise awareness of the EU\u2019s cooperation in the region, help develop youth policies and work together for a better future. The YEAs initiative is a network connecting active young people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine as well as from the EU Member States and the United Kingdom. The YEAs foster youth cooperation in their local communities and talk about EU topics that matter. They are peer role models; they share their voice, build mutual understanding and help shape the views on the EU and its relations with the eastern neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p22\">News alerts<\/p>\n<p class=\"p22\">The news alerts enable citizens to receive information about the EU-funded programmes and projects and EU-related opportunities in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) requested by registering to news alerts on the euneighbourseast.eu and\/or a EU4country website.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p22\">Uploading photos and videos on interviews of the project beneficiaries<\/p>\n<p class=\"p24\">for consolidating project information presenting EU cooperation in action from a communication perspective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p20\">All<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>data<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>processing<span class=\"s6\"> <\/span>is<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>transparent<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>and<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>abides<span class=\"s4\"> <\/span>by<span class=\"s6\"> <\/span>the<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>principle<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>of<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>users<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>opting-in\/out,<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>and<span class=\"s5\"> <\/span>allowing the data they provide to be used for specific<span class=\"s14\"> <\/span>purposes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p26\">Your personal data will <span class=\"s9\">not<\/span> be used for an automated decision-making including profiling<span class=\"s15\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b><\/b><span class=\"s9\"><b>3.
