The event, under the slogan “I celebrate childhood”,<\/strong> aimed to raise awareness and educate society on the needs and rights of children while giving children appreciation and love, a space to create and feel special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For a few hours, “Little Cluj” Park became a fairytale world where every child had the chance to be a superhero. 12 activity zones, one for each star on the EU flag, allowed guests to show their creativity, talent, and sporting skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the “I’m starting my journey”<\/strong> area, each child received an event flag, informational materials, and a lucky ticket, with which they could later participate in tombola with prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the “I learn and play”<\/strong> area, participants played board and cognitive games guided by cartoon figures. They painted in their favorite colors in the “I paint”<\/strong> area. And the students of the Ungheni Art School also presented an exhibition of their works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The “I discover”<\/strong> area was also crowded, where children closely attended a chemical show, and the bravest ones tested their combinations to obtain various fascinating reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The “EU4Moldova”<\/strong> area was dedicated to the successes of the Programme funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF. The guests explored the project’s achievements and were happy to see themselves in the pictures of the photo exhibition. And for a bit of relaxation, the “I watch”<\/strong> area was arranged, where Ungheni residents watched on-screen videos about the projects implemented in their district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Local talent evolved in the “I’m having fun” <\/strong>area, and inspirational childhood dances and songs echoed throughout the day on the park stage. Active lifestyle enthusiasts had fun in the “I do sport”<\/strong> area, where they successfully won diplomas and medals for their performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The girls and boys made memories at the “I take pictures”<\/strong> area. And future protectors of the country explored the “I get involved”<\/strong> area, where police, firefighters, and nurses demonstrated how to act in an emergency and told exciting stories from their daily work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The “I create”<\/strong> area brought together folk craftsmen and artisans from Ungheni, who passed on ancient traditions to children. The activity program culminated in the last area – “I did it”<\/strong>.
