{"id":114646,"date":"2024-01-16T16:43:34","date_gmt":"2024-01-16T14:43:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/?p=114646"},"modified":"2024-02-21T15:23:05","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T13:23:05","slug":"transport-e7-billion-call-for-key-infrastructure-projects-in-eu-open-for-moldova-and-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/en\/transport-e7-billion-call-for-key-infrastructure-projects-in-eu-open-for-moldova-and-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"Transport: \u20ac7 billion call for key infrastructure projects in EU \u2013 open for Moldova and Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On 26 September, the European Commission launched a call for proposals under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Transport.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Over \u20ac7 billion will become available for projects targeting new, upgraded and improved European transport infrastructure on the trans-European transport network <a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/transport-themes\/infrastructure-and-investment\/trans-european-transport-network-ten-t_en\">(TEN-T)<\/a>. The network involves rail, inland waterways, maritime or inland ports, or roads. The projects selected for funding will help the EU deliver on its <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/priorities-2019-2024\/european-green-deal_en\">climate<\/a> objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects bolstering the <a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/ukraine\/keeping-ukrainian-goods-moving_en\">EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes<\/a>, set up to facilitate Ukraine\u2019s exports and imports, will also be eligible. For the first time, Ukraine and Moldova will be able to apply for funding for infrastructure projects along the Solidarity Lanes as equal partners, without needing EU partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The
