Each selected locality will receive up to 418,000 MDL in funding, contributing to the modernization of emergency infrastructure and the improvement of working conditions for firefighting teams.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected localities are: Mereni (Anenii Noi), Sireti (Straseni), Larga (Briceni), Scoreni (Straseni), Razeni (Ialoveni), Suhuluceni (Telenesti), Carpineni (Hincesti), Tomai (UTA Gagauzia), Lalova (Rezina), and Geamana (Anenii Noi). These localities were chosen following a grant call launched in December 2024 by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A3016_resized-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-132668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A3016_resized-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A3016_resized-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A3016_resized-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A3016_resized-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A3016_resized-2048x1366.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Renovation works will include improvements to existing infrastructure such as repairing ceilings and floors, upgrading ventilation and insulation systems, and modernizing sanitary and rest areas. These upgrades aim to create safer, more comfortable, and better-equipped environments for firefighters as they carry out their daily duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, as part of the <strong>\u201dEU4Moldova Resilience \u2013 Secure State, Resilient Communities\u201d <\/strong>project, 35 fire stations will be equipped with modern intervention tools and advanced communication systems. This investment will enhance the professional preparedness of both career and volunteer firefighters. Training conditions, rapid response capabilities, and operational coordination will all be significantly improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A2925_resized-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-132671\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A2925_resized-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A2925_resized-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A2925_resized-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A2925_resized-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0C2A2925_resized-2048x1366.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By the end of the project, Moldova\u2019s national network of territorial and volunteer fire stations will expand from 25 to 35 units, strengthening the country\u2019s rapid emergency response capacity, particularly in rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Renovation works are scheduled for completion by September 2025. The total budget allocated for this grant call is up to 4.2 million MDL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>\u201dEU4Moldova Resilience \u2013 Secure State, Resilient Communities\u201d<\/strong><em><strong> <\/strong><\/em>project is funded by the European Union and implemented by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova.
