Between 14\u201317 April 2025, approximately 50 representatives from the National Employment Agency (NEA) and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (MLSP) participated in a series of intensive workshops aimed at modernising employment services and improving performance management systems. These activities are part of a broader effort to support the institutional reform of NEA and MLSP through the development of skills and results-oriented approaches.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants explored and analysed European best practices, contributing to the development of action plans tailored to the national context. The sessions were facilitated with the support of international ILO experts, who provided comparative insights into institutional methodologies and experiences from European Union member states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of four days, NEA and MLSP specialists took part in interactive sessions and practical applications covering, among other topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the use of e-learning modules in the continuous training of staff;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the design and delivery of modern employment services tailored to client needs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the development of active labour market programmes, integrating international practices in career guidance and individualised support;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the implementation and monitoring of institutional performance, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement systems aligned with EU and ILO standards;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the creation of a sustainable network of internal trainers to support long-term organisational learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this initiative, the European Union and the ILO are directly contributing to enhancing the quality and efficiency of public employment services in Moldova, fostering an approach based on continuous learning and adaptability to labour market dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These activities are part of the project \u201cEU Support for a More Inclusive Labour Market in the Republic of Moldova,\u201d funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Labour Organization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Union and the International Labour Organization (ILO) continue to support the development of the labour market and the enhancement of access to improved employment opportunities in the Republic of Moldova.
