Funded by the European Union, the programme supports Moldovan law enforcement agencies in their reforms, strengthens their operational capacity and promotes cross border cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific results to be achieved by the Translator Assistant: Translation support to the Project <br><br><strong>The Translator Assistant will be located in Chisinau starting 1st of June for three years.<\/strong><br><br><strong>Duties: The Translator Assistant reports to the Team Leader. S\/he will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All duties regarding translation aspects of the project as may be assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist the Team Leader and main experts in the organisation of all activities and in the<br>follow-up of the project regarding translation matters;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist the lead experts in the preparation of the technical steering committees and other<br>project coordination meetings regarding translation matters;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Good knowledge of the country&#8217;s administrative procedures (visas, registrations, taxes\u2026)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent in English both spoken and written language;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interpretation from Romanian to English and vice versa, at meetings and other oral<br>conversations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General professional experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A minimum of five years of proven relevant experience.<br>Specific professional experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in working with Microsoft Excel;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the administration (Ministry of the Internal Affairs is a plus)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative experience in projects funded by international donors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contacts<\/strong><br>Please send your CV and cover letter to the following contacts:<br>Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Puel: jean-francois.puel@experts.civipol.fr<br>Claire Avon: claire.avon@civipol.fr<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The EU4LEIM project, led by CIVIPOL in partnership with the CPMA (Central Project Management Agency &#8211; Lithuania), aims to support Moldova in its alignment with European standards in terms of security and the fight against organised crime.
