{"id":134550,"date":"2025-05-26T17:31:56","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T14:31:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/?p=134550"},"modified":"2025-05-26T17:32:05","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T14:32:05","slug":"civil-society-can-apply-for-eu-funded-grants-of-eur-10-000-to-strengthen-their-resilience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/en\/civil-society-can-apply-for-eu-funded-grants-of-eur-10-000-to-strengthen-their-resilience\/","title":{"rendered":"Civil Society Can Apply for EU-Funded Grants of EUR 10 000 to Strengthen Their Resilience"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>A new funding opportunity is now open for civil society organisations (CSOs) in Eastern Partner countries, offering grants of up to EUR 10 000 to help them resist in the face of current and future challenges such as political pressure, war, disinformation, or cyberattacks.<\/strong> <strong>The call is launched as part of the \u2018Enhancing the Resilience of Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership\u2019 (ERICS-EaP) project, funded by the European Commission and led by the Transatlantic Foundation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>CSOs can receive funding for activities that will make them stronger in the long term:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Staff security and well-being \u2013 e.g., training, protective measures, or mental health support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upgrading IT systems and cybersecurity \u2013 making sure their computers and data are secure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hiring experts or consultants \u2013 for advice or specialized skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving communications \u2013 such as website upgrades, social media, public relations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal services \u2013 paying for legal advice or support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The program aims to achieve the following four objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve the financial and resource base of civil society in the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build the skills of civil society to improve their visibility, effectiveness, and accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help civil society connect better with local communities and government at all levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enhance regional and international cooperation and exchange through civil society platforms and networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cross-border cooperation and building networks with other organizations are especially encouraged.<br>The available grant supports a maximum project duration of five months. <strong>The deadline for applications is 13 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>More details and the application form <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmfus.org\/enhancing-resilience-civil-society-eastern-partnership-erics-eap#\">can be found here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new funding opportunity is now open for civil society organisations (CSOs) in Eastern Partner countries, offering grants of up to EUR 10 000 to help them resist in the face of current and future challenges such as political pressure, war, disinformation, or cyberattacks.
