The specific objectives (SO) are the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SO1 \u2013<\/strong>&nbsp;Law Enforcement in the field of border management is further aligned with Schengen\/EU acquis and good practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SO2\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 National capacities in integrated border management, prevention, and investigation of cross-border crime are improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SO3<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Modernisation of border\/migration management capacities is reinforced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The starting date of the action is June 1st, 2025. The duration of the project is 3 years. The lead partner of the project is Central Project Management Agency (CPVA), other partners \u00a0\u2013 Polish Solidarity Fund (PSF) and International Organization for Migration (IOM). The project team, based in the Republic of Moldova, is composed of the Team Leader , Component Leader 2, Local and international long\/short-term experts, project assistant and other supporting staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>BASIC INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>APPLICATION DEADLINE<\/strong>: 30 June, 2025, end of the business day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SECTORS<\/strong>: Border control and migration management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OPPORTUNITY TYPE<\/strong>: Service Contract for approx. 6 months with the possibility of extension<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BUDGET PLANNED<\/strong>: max 2,000 EUR per month (service contract including all related taxes and other related costs). Other (non-personal) expenses related to the implementation of the project will be covered additionally in accordance with the Project rules and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EXPECTED STARTING DATE<\/strong>: July 7, 2025 (as soon as possible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ORGANISATION<\/strong>: Central Project Management Agency (CPVA), Lithuania<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DUTY LOCATION<\/strong>: Chisinau, Republic of Moldova (Project office \u2013 Petricani 19 street, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, MD-2059)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CONTACT POINT<\/strong>: Eimant\u0117 Vaitek\u016bnait\u0117,\u00a0<a href=\"javascript:;\">e.vaitekunaite@cpva.lt<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Please submit your CVs to the e-mail\u00a0<a href=\"javascript:;\">e.vaitekunaite@cpva.lt<\/a>, indicating the title of the applied position \u201cProject assistant Moldova\u201d,\u00a0<strong>not later than 30 June 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be informed that only the shortlisted candidates will be contacted to take part at the further procurement stages planned to be organised in July 2025. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Services include general support services to the Team leader (TL) and office team in terms of administrative assistance, office management, correspondence, record keeping and filing, bookkeeping, and accounting services are to be provided in close coordination with TL, International and Local Long-term experts, CPVA team entailing the following and other respective representatives of the implementing organizations, but not limited:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drafting written materials within the project in the Romanian\/ English languages;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the TL and office team in organisational, logistical, and technical matters, especially with organising conferences, training sessions, workshops, meetings, expert missions, and study visits of experts and others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing and maintaining close working contacts with Moldovan officials involved in the Project, the Project\u2019s experts (international and national), and the Project Team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helping or arranging contacts or meetings, attending meetings, and drafting, disseminating minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the Short Term Experts (hereafter \u2013 STEs) in organisational and technical matters, including assistance to solve travel, accommodation, and other related issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributing to social media, online presence, and other visibility activities if required and in coordination with the Project Communication &amp; visibility\/knowledge management Service Providers and the Project team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing services of the Interpreter-translator:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interpret during conferences, workshops, meetings, and seminars, or other conversations (assistant might be supported by professional interpretation for special tasks, events, etc.) from Romanian\/Russian to English and vice versa;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct the proofreading of the documents translated into the Romanian language (the assistant might be supported by professional translation for special tasks);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the TL and office team and the STEs concerning language issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the TL and office team and the Interpreter-translator(s) in identifying, contracting, and monitoring commercial translation and interpretation services.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing services of assistance for the Project team with successful administration and operational management of the Project:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with the CPVA and other partners&#8217; procurement procedures when ordering office supplies, event organising services, and other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain finance records and process invoices in liaison with the CPVA and other partners Project team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assemble the Project claims for audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing services of compliance with the office safety rules (e.g., anti-fire safety procedures and others);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other related functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EXPERT PROFILE OR EXPERTISE REQUIRED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>General professional experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree (diploma).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Specific professional experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent communication skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent planning, coordination, and management skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail as well as very good abilities in drafting documents;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability to work independently as well as part of a team, and be initiative and flexible;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English and Romanian (both oral and written) are the working languages. Fluency in written and spoken English and Romanian is mandatory.
