More than 100 beginner entrepreneurs took part in the training course for start-upers, held for 3 days in Cahul, bringing together participants from the Southern regions. The event was organized by the \u201cMoldova is Europe \u2013 Support for EU Integration\u201d project in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Service, the Customs Service and \u201cMonitorul Fiscal FISC.md\u201d periodical publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aspiring entrepreneurs took part in dynamic, hands-on sessions that guided them step by step through the essentials of starting and running a business. They learned how to officially register a company, prepare for public procurement process, handle taxes and social contributions, manage imports and exports operations and understand the basics of other customs procedures. The training also touched on practical issues that entrepreneurs face in their daily activity, such as labour legislation, workplace safety, local and environmental taxes, financial management, accounting, and effective business communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sessions were delivered by experts from the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Service, the Customs Service, alongside practicing accountants and private-sector consultants. The interactive sessions allowed participants to ask questions, share experiences, and receive practical advice, and the programme concluded with each entrepreneur being awarded a certificate of participation as recognition of their commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training in Cahul marked the third and last round of the Training Programme for Start-Up Entrepreneurs launched this summer. The first round was held in Chi\u0219in\u0103u for entrepreneurs from the central region and the capital, while the second round took place in B\u0103l\u021bi, northern region. In total, more than 350 start-up entrepreneurs across the country have already been trained through the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
