By joining the European Commission\u2019s #BeActive \u2013 European Week of Sport, we support sports activities and initiatives encouraging movement for healthier living.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout October, several EU Information Centres and Euro Clubs are organizing thematic events focused on sports: gymnastics, friendly matches, championships, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The week was opened by the 3rd edition of the mini-football championship organized by the Euro Club of \u201cAlexei Mateevici\u201d Lyceum in Chi\u0219in\u0103u. The event brought together students specializing in Sport and Physical Education as well as members of other Euro Clubs in the capital. Each match turned into a true celebration of movement, passion, and teamwork. The championship will continue throughout October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Week of Sport kicked off with the national #BeActive flashmob \u2014 gymnastics activities held in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova in schools across the country.
