{"id":138022,"date":"2025-10-09T18:40:48","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T15:40:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/?p=138022"},"modified":"2025-10-09T19:08:55","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T16:08:55","slug":"job-opportunity-project-assistant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/en\/job-opportunity-project-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Opportunity: Project Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The EU-funded project \u201cMoldova is Europe \u2013 Support for EU Integration\u201d is looking for a qualified person for the position of Project Assistant.<\/strong><br><br>The overall objective of the project is to support the Moldovan authorities in building accountable and resilient governance systems for European integration by developing the internal capacity of the administration to deliver on reforms, strengthening strategic planning, policy-making at sectoral level, and policy management capacities, enhancing stakeholders\u2019 knowledge and awareness of EU policies, legislation and regulations and their capacity for alignment and implementation of the EU body of law (\u201cEU Acquis\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The specific objectives set in this context are the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Increase the level of administrative and institutional capacity to effectively align with and implement the EU acquis, to successfully carry out accession negotiations and to develop the ability to take on the obligations of EU membership, in line with the Copenhagen criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Achieve progress in implementation of the priorities set out by the future Moldova Growth Plan, in order to develop a functioning market economy and the capacity to cope with competition and market forces in the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duties and responsibilities<\/strong>: Under the direct supervision of the company headquarters\u2019 backstopping team, the Project Assistant will be responsible for the following:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Responsible for the daily <strong>office management<\/strong>, administrative and logistical management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for daily <strong>communication, correspondence and planning<\/strong> within the project office;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the training courses, workshops, conferences, study visits, internship programmes, ad-hoc missions etc.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support KEs and NKEs in <strong>liaising with the main stakeholders<\/strong>, organising and agreeing meetings and taking minutes if necessary;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in <strong>preparing and editing different reports<\/strong> as required by the ToR;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide the language assistance to the Project, including<strong> translation and interpretation (English\/Romanian\/Russian and vice versa) <\/strong>for formal and informal meeting, events<strong>,<\/strong> documents and other correspondence as well as in meetings where not covered by incidental budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Incidental expenditure according to EU procedures<\/strong>. To monitor expenditure on a monthly basis (actual and budget) according to PRAG rules.<ul><li>Support in coordination of the use of the incidental budget, budgeting and reporting;<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure the collection of all original documents;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accounting<\/strong>. Recording of all payments in a Monitoring tool and report to GOPA PACE project managers on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial documentation<\/strong>. To keep all records\/ files for audit purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University\/college degree,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional fluency in written and spoken English,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Windows applications,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 3 years similar experience,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in a team, excellent inter-personal and communication skills,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexible and service-minded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with interpretation and translation as an asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in other EU-funded project is a serious asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Logistics and timing.<\/strong> The working place is the project\u2019s office premises and for at least the regular daily office hours (from Monday to Friday from 09: 00 AM to 18:00 PM, one hour lunch break).
