EuropeAid\/185895\/DD\/ACT\/MD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>global objective<\/strong>&nbsp;of the Call is to strengthen the capacities of civil society organisations and independent media in the Republic of Moldova to effectively support and contribute to the country\u2019s EU accession process. The action seeks to empower CSOs and media organisations to play a proactive and influential role in fostering open and constructive dialogue with public authorities, promoting democratic governance and sustainable development, enhancing social cohesion, and strengthening community resilience to disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total budget of the Call for Proposals is&nbsp;<strong>EUR 12,500,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This&nbsp;<strong>Call for Proposals<\/strong>&nbsp;is divided into five lots, each lot has its own specific objectives and priorities:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lot 1:\u00a0Enabling civil society to contribute to fostering social cohesion and improving community-based social services for vulnerable groups;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot 2:\u00a0Advancing gender equality and combating gender-based violence through enhanced access to protection, justice, prevention and economic empowerment;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot 3:\u00a0Strengthening the internal capacity, effectiveness and long-term sustainability of grassroot civil society organisations, including CSO platforms and networks;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot 4: Enhancing inclusive multi\u2011level governance through stronger cooperation between CSOs and Local Public Authorities (LPAs) in the implementation of EU accession\u2011related reforms;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot 5: Support to independent media and investigative journalism and fact-checking in Moldova.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline for submission of Concept Notes is 31\/03\/2026 at 12:00 (Brussels date and time).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help applicants familiarise themselves with the system before the online submission, an&nbsp;<strong>information session will be organised on 19 February 2026 in online format, starting at 10.00 am until 12.30 pm (Chisinau date and time)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should you be interested in this session, please register online following this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_tb01DLHVTi-PRn0AOjd5Vw#\/registration\">registration link<\/a>&nbsp;or send an email by&nbsp;<strong>17 February 2026 COB <\/strong>to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:Delegation-Moldova-Operations@eeas.europa.eu\"><strong>Delegation-Moldova-Operations@eeas.europa.eu<\/strong><\/a>, indicating: name, surname, nationality and email address of the persons who are going to participate as well as their organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More details are available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/screen\/opportunities\/prospect-details\/185895PROSPECTSEN?order=DESC&amp;pageNumber=1&amp;pageSize=50&amp;sortBy=relevance&amp;keywords=Civil%20society&amp;isExactMatch=true&amp;status=31094502&amp;programmePeriod=2021%20-%202027\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova launched today the Call for Proposals for Civil Society Organisations in the Republic of Moldova (2026), ref.
