The action seeks to empower CSOs and media organisations to play a proactive and influential role in fostering open and constructive dialogue with public authorities, promoting democratic governance and sustainable development, enhancing social cohesion, and strengthening community resilience to disinformation.<\/p>\n<p>The total budget of the call is \u20ac12.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>The call for proposals is divided into five lots:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lot 1<\/strong>: Enabling civil society to contribute to fostering social cohesion and improving community-based social services for vulnerable groups;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lot 2<\/strong>: Advancing gender equality and combating gender-based violence through enhanced access to protection, justice, prevention and economic empowerment;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lot 3<\/strong>: Strengthening the internal capacity, effectiveness and long-term sustainability of grassroot civil society organisations, including CSO platforms and networks;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lot 4<\/strong>: Enhancing inclusive multi\u2011level governance through stronger cooperation between CSOs and Local Public Authorities (LPAs) in the implementation of EU accession\u2011related reforms;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lot 5<\/strong>: Support for independent media and investigative journalism and fact-checking in Moldova.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The call is open for legal non-profit-making persons of a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, local authority or international (inter-governmental) organisation.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications is 31 March 2026 at 12:00 (Brussels date).<\/p>\n<p>To take part in a dedicated online information session, scheduled for 19 February, please register online following this <a href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_tb01DLHVTi-PRn0AOjd5Vw#\/registration\">registration link<\/a> by 17 February.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Find out more<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/en\/call-for-proposals\/\">Press release<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/euneighbourseast.eu\/opportunities\/moldova-eu-grant-call-to-strengthen-civil-society-organisations\/\">Moldova: EU grant call to strengthen civil society organisations<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/euneighbourseast.eu\">EU NEIGHBOURS east<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova has launched a call for proposals for civil society organisations in the Republic of Moldova.
