{"id":151025,"date":"2026-05-20T10:15:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T07:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/?p=151025"},"modified":"2026-05-20T10:19:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T07:19:12","slug":"better-social-services-through-energy-efficiency-in-nisporeni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/en\/better-social-services-through-energy-efficiency-in-nisporeni\/","title":{"rendered":"Better social services through energy efficiency in Nisporeni"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In Nisporeni, the first energy efficiency works have been completed under the project \u201cLocal Partnerships for Energy Efficiency in Social Services \u2013 Better Social Services\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The building of the Regional Center for Social Integration and Assistance \u201cTrust\u201d, built almost 50 years ago, now provides better conditions for the center\u2019s beneficiaries and the social canteen users. Thermal insulation and modernization works will reduce energy losses and make the spaces more comfortable for approximately 440 people annually. The change is visible in the building, but it is felt especially in daily services: warmer rooms, lower energy costs, and better conditions for people in need of support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/MC028099-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-151017\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/MC028099-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/MC028099-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/MC028099-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/MC028099-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/MC028099-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cInvestments in energy efficiency mean not only saving resources but also caring for people. When we modernize social institutions, we directly contribute to the comfort and safety of beneficiaries. Such projects demonstrate that the energy transition has tangible effects in citizens\u2019 daily lives,\u201d said Dorin Junghietu, Minister of Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn this project, supported by the European Union, strong local partnerships have been created between civil society, public authorities, and donors, demonstrating that investments in energy efficiency are, \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0436\u0434\u0435 \u0432\u0441\u0435\u0433\u043e, investments in people and the quality of social services.
