its recommendations for the harmonisation of eCommerce between the Eastern partner countries and the EU in three areas: ecosystem, legal framework and standards.<\/p>\n<p>The recommendations aim to eliminate the barriers for cross-border eCommerce, to boost its volume, and to increase awareness and prepare the countries for the EU 2021 eCommerce changes.<\/p>\n<p><span><span>The recommendations have already resulted in\u00a0six national actions plans to be implemented by\u00a0authorities of the Eastern partner countries making the necessary changes in legal and standards areas, and\u00a0governmental and non-governmental stakeholders adopting the recommendations in national economy development plans for practical actions<span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span>One of the proposed recommendations\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0to establish a virtual warehouse \u2013 was selected to be <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eufordigital.eu\/ecommerce-pilot-between-armenia-azerbaijan-georgia-and-germany-how-eu4digital-activity-seeks-to-increase-volumes-of-ecommerce\/\"><span>piloted<\/span><\/a><strong> <\/strong><span><span>between the Eastern partner countries\u00a0(Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia)\u00a0and the EU\u00a0(Germany).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>This project envisages that the <\/span><\/span><span><span>eCommerce actors <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>will<\/span><\/span><span><span> automatically exchange information about sales, customs and delivery<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span> via the<\/span><\/span><span><span> national virtual warehouses \/databases of local goods.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"
