The project aims to support civil society groups, independent media outlets and journalists from the countries in the Wider Black Sea Region and the new EU member states.<\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span>Under the current call, BST will support proposals that fall under <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>two<\/span><\/span><span><span> thematic areas<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>. The first one is the m<\/span><\/span><span><span>ultilateral cooperation between organi<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>s<\/span><\/span><span><span>ations at regional level that promote democratic developments in the Black Sea region<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span> (<\/span><\/span><span><span>with a total budget of\u00a0\u20ac20,000 to \u20ac35,000<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>). The <\/span><\/span><span><span><span>project proposals should be initiated by consortia of at least three CSOs and\/or independent media, legally registered in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and should cover at least three countries.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" lang=\"EN-GB\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><span>The s<\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span>econd one is the bilateral exchanges between organisations from the Black Sea region and new EU member states (with a total budget of\u00a0\u20ac7,500 to \u20ac15,000). Under this thematic area, project proposals should be initiated by CSOs and independent media, legally registered in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine<\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span><span>,<\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span> and should include partnerships with at least one counterpart from new EU member states (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span>Proposals will be received on an ongoing basis<\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span><span> with<\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span> the first deadline <\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span><span>on <strong>20<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span><span><span>May
