The motto of 2021 edition was \u201cSafe and healthy with sustainable mobility\u201d aiming to promote alternative forms of eco-friendly transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2021 celebration of the European Mobility Week was carried out under the EU-co-funded project \u201cMOVE IT like Lublin &#8211; a Chisinau public transport sustainable development initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was officially opened by Mr. Krzysztof \u017buk, Mayor of the City of Lublin, Mr. Grzegorz Malec, Director of the Public Transport Authority in Lublin and Mr. Octavian Lungu, Project Manager of &#8220;MOVE IT like Lublin&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"844\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image013-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-80137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image013-2.jpg 844w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image013-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image013-2-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image013-2-100x67.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 844px) 100vw, 844px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Lungu remarked in his speech that the project for the modernisation of public transport in Chisinau is carried out with the financial support of the European Union, but also due to the openness of the Lublin partner, for which he thanked local public authorities. \u201cLublin is an example to follow, in the sense of the changes produced in recent years, but also a model of inspiration.
