During the first year of its activity, the project EU4Moldova: Startup City Cahul has achieved remarkable results. During this time, 4 STEM subjects were introduced into the school curriculum. More so, 38 schools from the southern region were connected to the subjects of the future, 739 students were part of the IT courses, and 89 girls and boys participated in the entrepreneurship educational program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training programs organized for the teachers targeting improved digital skills and abilities to teach STEM subjects reached 210 beneficiaries (teachers from the South region). These result confirms the significant contribution of the project “EU4Moldova: Startup City Cahul” to the development of the region, which confirms the strategic importance of the initiative for the south of the country. By 2024, EU4Moldova: Startup City Cahul plans to strengthen the potential of the digital economy, promote an increase in the supply of IT professionals in the region, support the development of entrepreneurship in the south and the emergence of new enterprises operating on the basis of innovation.
