{"id":82674,"date":"2022-01-12T06:00:44","date_gmt":"2022-01-12T04:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/?p=82674"},"modified":"2022-02-01T01:53:39","modified_gmt":"2022-01-31T23:53:39","slug":"opening-of-the-exhibition-equality-through-the-lens-of-a-camera-in-cahul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/en\/opening-of-the-exhibition-equality-through-the-lens-of-a-camera-in-cahul\/","title":{"rendered":"Opening of the exhibition \u201cEquality through the lens of a camera\u201d in Cahul"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A photo exhibition has been launched in Cahul, gathering the works of the 13 participants in the boot camp \u201cEquality through the lens of a camera\u201d, where they learned how to become gender equality and human rights advocates in the society, using photography for this purpose, while also giving them the opportunity to try out and master portrait shooting, storytelling photography and photo exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a year marked by COVID-19, the participants presented their own vision of gender equality in order to raise public awareness on this issue. They visited different communities from Cahul municipality and searched for protagonists to create their own essays and stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"723\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image027-3-723x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82070\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image027-3-723x1024.jpg 723w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image027-3-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image027-3-100x142.jpg 100w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image027-3.jpg 758w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The event took place in the square of \u201cBogdan Petriceicu Ha\u0219deu\u201d State University as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doroteea-Liubovi Pavel, student at Ioan-Vod\u0103 Theoretical High School of Cahul spoke about her experience and told what impressed her during the photo camp: <em>\u201cWhile we were taking pictures of her,<\/em> <em>Mrs Alexandra Piscunov was sharing her experience as a Mayor of Vadul lui Isac. She spoke about her daily activities, reforms she was implementing and, frankly speaking, I am impressed to see the daily progress. I was impressed by the people who were inspired by Mrs Piscunov, people who wanted to change their community. While taking pictures of her, we captured both visual elements, and her words.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"738\" src=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image028-1024x738.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82073\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image028-1024x738.png 1024w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image028-300x216.png 300w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image028-768x553.png 768w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image028-100x72.png 100w, https:\/\/eu4moldova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/image028.png 1180w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel Buyuklyu, student, Vasile Alecsandri Theoretical High School of Coliba\u0219i village, spoke about the importance of young people to fight inequalities in the society. <em>\u201cIn my photo, you can see Mrs Tatiana, a bus driver, who is managing a business and, while transporting passengers, she is also transporting goods for sale.
