Establishing Regional Business Information and Support Center for the Gagauzia Region of the Republic of Moldova

Project Description
The project to create a Regional Center for Business Information and Support for ATU Gagauzia (RBISC) is aimed at providing advisory, informational and real support for the establishment and development of business in the autonomy. Provided services: business training, advice on organizing a business and promoting it, on accounting, taxation, marketing and branding a business or product, finding additional sources of financing, creating a business guide, business internships for businessmen. The project has a head office and 3 divisions (Business Hubs) in the regional centers - Comrat, Chadyr-Lunga, Vulcanesti.
Specific Objective
- Ensuring sustainable economic growth in the Region.
- Increasing the competitiveness of the SME sector.
- Enhancing the investment and financing potential of the region.
- Better coordination of actions and interventions by national, regional and local authorities, business and civil society.
- Building a regional brand and promoting the image of Gagauzia on national and international level.
Expected Results
- Business residents of the Gagauzia region of Moldova, interested in opening, consolidating and/or expanding a business, have access to improved and up-to-date information and introductory support on all phases of business operation, provided in a client-centric and tailored manner.
- Businesses from the Gagauzia region of Moldova benefit from an improved regional institutional framework and market-oriented support services.
- The access to finance of local businesses, including start-ups and young entrepreneurs, is improved via the facilitation of partnership links between the business sector, civil society and LPAs.
