The overall objective of the project is to empower persons in neuro-psychiatric residential institutions and local CSOs to defend and monitor the rights of persons with mental disabilities in Moldova. The partners will promote greater awareness of the rights of people with mental disabilities through their empowerment as self-advocates; will carry on capacity-building of CSOs to enhance and to monitor the CRPD implementation in neuro-psychiatric residential institutions; and aim to combat discrimination of persons with mental disabilities living in neuro-psychiatric residential institutions and promote community for all.
