The European Union and UNDP announce the winners of the competition “Energy saving in images”

The European Union in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova are pleased to announce the results of the “Energy saving in images” contest, that promotes creativity and awareness of the efficient use of energy.

The competition, open to both amateur and professional photographers, aimed to capture innovative and inspiring ways in which energy can be saved and used responsibly and sustainably.

The 26 participants registered in the contest had the opportunity to present in images portraits, landscapes, buildings, innovations and creative ways of saving energy.

9 participants out of the 26 were awarded. The grand prize went to the photographer Iurie Foca, and the special prizes to Alexandru Ghereg, Alexandru Costin, Pavel Taran, Dumitru Cuznețov, Egor Tetiusev, Mihai Lica, Otilia Munteanu and Vadim Șterbate.

The authors of the winning photos were awarded at the Sun Dă-i Fest on 10 September 10. The prizes include DSLR cameras, professional lens filter sets, high-capacity memory cards and more, offered by the European Union and UNDP.

The European Union and UNDP Moldova thank all participants for their creativity and commitment in promoting the responsible use of energy and supporting a sustainable future.
