Support to further strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in the Republic of Moldova – planned activities for the second semester

On 13 August, the Project “Support to further strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in the Republic of Moldova” (“CEPEJ Project”), which is part of the Partnership of the Council of Europe and the European Union for Good Governance in the Eastern Partnership Countries 2019-2021 (PGG II), organized the second meeting of its Steering Group.

The Meeting gathered representatives of the main partners and beneficiaries and was dedicated to the review of the initial work plan presented at the first meeting in the light of amendments introduced to the course of its activities’ implementation due to the pandemic COVID-19 circumstances.

The updated work plan for the period of August – December 2020 was approved. Participants paid particular attention to certain activities of the Plan that require the increase in communication and dialogue among some stakeholders and agreed to apply further efforts in this respect with the Project support.

It was agreed that the third meeting of the Steering Group to be held in January 2021.
