Ukrainian refugees: Moldova receives first humanitarian aid shipments from EU countries

The first humanitarian aid shipments have started arriving in Moldova through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The aid goes to support Ukrainians fleeing Russian aggression.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands has delivered four tents, more than 5,000 beds and sleeping bags, as well as bags of blankets, pillows, bedding sets and personal hygiene kits.

France has also sent tents, bunks, sleeping bags and essential goods.

Croatia donated humanitarian aid worth €240,000. The humanitarian cargo includes five generators, ten tents, 100 beds, 1,000 blankets, as well as protective equipment – hundreds of thousands of surgical masks, goggles and latex gloves.

Greece has supplied 30 multi-purpose tents, 2,500 blankets and 1,000 pillows for Ukrainian refugees.
