European Solidarity Corps: long-term volunteer opportunity at a day care in Germany
‘Kita am Haydnplatz’, a bilingual (German/French) day care centre, located in Karlsruhe, Germany, invites volunteers from Belarus and Moldova to join its team from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027.
The centre welcomes more than 60 children aged 1-6. As a bilingual centre, there is a particular emphasis on natural language acquisition. Volunteers will assist educators in their daily work with children and in the kitchen. They can also implement their own projects with children, such as handicrafts or games.
Volunteers will live in a shared flat with other ESC volunteers and receive approximately €500 per month in pocket money and a food allowance. They will also receive a card that allows you to travel throughout Germany for free.
The candidate should be at least 18 years old and have an interest in educational work, especially in working with children.
Some knowledge of English and possibly French, and basic skills in German, would be helpful but aren’t mandatory.
