On 13 March 2019, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s Office in the Republic of Moldova organized a business breakfast for representatives of engineering and construction companies, and industrial producers on the topic of energy efficiency: general trends, local needs and the EBRD’s efforts to support this sector. The key speaker of this event was Mr. Terry McCallion, EBRD Director for Energy Efficiency and Climate Change. The participants of the event brought to the attention of the official the challenges they face in the realization of environmentally friendly projects, and suggested ways of intervention on the Moldovan market.
