EU Talks at “Vasile Alecsandri” High School in Chișinău
The EU Talks event series continues! On April 30, 2024, we discussed the European future of Moldova with the pupils of “Vasile Alecsandri” High School in Chisinau.
For more than an hour, the EU Ambassador in Chisinau, Jānis Mažeiks, answered the questions from young people related to the challenges on Moldova’s path towards European integration, but also about climate change and religion in the EU.
Many questions from the audience were about post-secondary studies abroad. The ambassador suggested the students to continue their studies in European countries, in order to return and put their knowledge into practice at home, in the Republic of Moldova.
We are glad that “EU Talks” is becoming an increasingly popular debate format, a platform for active interaction.
The activity is part of the EU Talks series of events within the #EuropeanYearOfSkills and will continue in other localities of the Republic of Moldova. The aim of the project is to bring more information and direct interaction between the young people of Moldova and the accredited European diplomatic missions in Chisinau.
