“EU Talks” in Comrat

A new EU Talks event took place, with the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova and the Europe Café team visiting Comrat. The event featured discussions with the mayor of Comrat, Serghei Anastasov, alongside representatives from local public administration, entrepreneurs, civic activists, and community members from Comrat and the surrounding region.

The dialogue was highly engaging, covering topics of interest to local residents, such as justice reform, the promotion of Moldovan products in EU markets, strengthening partnerships between the non-governmental and private sectors, and the development of educational programmes.

The EU Delegation team also highlighted current funding opportunities, as well as upcoming calls for European grants.

This event is part of the EU Talks series and will continue in other localities across the Republic of Moldova. The project’s goal is to enhance access to information and foster direct interaction between the people of Moldova and accredited European diplomatic missions in Chisinau.
