EU Information Centers and Euro Clubs promote European values
Peter Michalko, EU Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, had an online discussion with all the coordinators of the EU Information Centers and Euro clubs active in the country. The coordinators shared their best practices for activities in their localities, as well as creative ideas for future plans, including Europe Day 2021 events. This network of the Centres and Clubs aims to increase the awareness of the public in their communities about the activities and support of the European Union and its Member States, as well as share European values and ideas. Ambassador Peter Michalko thanked all the coordinators for their daily work and reiterated EU support for the activities of the EU Info Centres and Euroclubs. He also encouraged the coordinators to streghen their cooperation with local media, EU funded projects and Local Action Groups in their regions. Currently there are 27 EU Information Centers and Euroclubs in the Republic of Moldova, having a very active role in informing the citizens about the EU and its Member States.
