A Day full of colors and useful information for children from vulnerable groups and at risk

Useful and enjoyable activities – this is what Civil Society Organizations implementing grants under the “Better Social Services through a Sustainable Partnership between Civil Society and Government” project prepared for their beneficiaries on the International Children’s Day. The “Speranța” Public Association in Cineseuti village, Rezina district, organized a session on the prevention and combating of domestic violence and, in particular, of violence against children. Parents, grandparents and children discussed with the Police workers who distributed them informative materials and told them about the basic measures they had to take if they are witnesses or victims of violence.

The NGO “Speranţa” implements the project “Diversifying sports and cultural socio-educational services for children and young people from vulnerable groups or at risk of vulnerability”. Children beneficiaries of the “Diamant” day-center, managed by the Titus Christian Foundation in Teleneşti had an original surprise on their Day. For one hour they were part of a team of future banking officials. They visited a banking institution in Teleneşti city, where they had the opportunity to find out the history of banking institutions, as well as to find out what services this institution is currently offering and what are the prospects of the banking sector. For a few minutes, they also attempted to negotiate with the head of the banking institution, they sat at the table where the possible financing of business ideas was discussed, analyzed and negotiated. Activity is part of the social and financial education course.

The “House of Generations” day-center, opened by AO Media West Europe, in Teliţa commune, Anenii Noi district, was filled with colors on June 1st. Children had ice cream, carriage rides, tobogganing, dances and even a tree of desires.
