13:30-15:00 Tour of the European Village

Traditionally, EU Ambassador, Speaker of the Parliament and Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova will visit the tents of the EU Member States’ Embassies, EU-funded projects and Government of Moldova.

13:00-18:00 Interactive Fair dedicated to the European Village in Chișinău
  • “Team Europe” Alley: 22 EU Member States will present their support for the Republic of Moldova, highlighting the assistance they provide. We invite you to stop by the stands, speak with Embassy representatives, and discover European cultures, traditions, and opportunities.
  • European Union Delegation Pavilion: Here, you are invited to enjoy an interactive experience called “Journey through Europe”. Upon entry, you will receive a European Passport. Visit all five stations, collect stamps, and at the end you may receive various surprises:
    Station 1 – EU Energy Bicycle: pedal and power a light bulb with your own energy.
    Station 2 – True or False Quiz: test your knowledge about the European Union and the support provided to the Republic of Moldova.
    Station 3 – Europe Café: a break with coffee, dialogue, and a fortune cookie featuring an inspirational message.
    Station 4 – Young European Ambassadors: music, European languages, board games, and activities about Europe’s diversity.
    Station 5 – European Values Wheel: spin the wheel and discuss values such as solidarity, democracy, diversity, and freedom.
  • “EU Solidarity in Action” Alley: EU-funded projects will showcase how they directly contribute to improving citizens’ lives;
  • “European Moldova”: the pavilion of the Government and Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, presenting interactive activities and information about the country’s European path.
  • Around the Government building, visitors will be able to explore four thematic spaces:
    Family and Education Zone – educational initiatives and activities for children and young people.
    Reform Dialogue Zone – discussions on European integration, local development, and the role of local public authorities.
    Institutions’ Garden – located in the Government courtyard, on Veronica Micle Street, where visitors will discover the work of public institutions in an accessible and interactive way.
    Demonstrations and Technologies Zone – digital solutions, innovations, and modern technologies in public services.
  • Children’s Pavilion: face painting, colouring activities, painting workshops, games, puzzles, and many other activities.

  • 14:15 – 15:00 | “The Price of a Smile” by Ionela Hadârcă – come and receive a book signed by the author. The activity is organised by the “EVOLVE4GE” project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UN Women.
  • 15:15 – 16:00 | Inspiring Stories – live segment dedicated to women’s voices inspiring change, focusing on resilience, inclusion, and advocacy, organised within the framework of the “EU4Gender Equality” project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UN Women and UNFPA.
  • 16:15 – 17:45 | “What? Where? When?” – intellectual game for the public, organised by the Council of Europe.
