ALMOST 500 YOUNG PEOPLE FROM UNGHENI, CĂLĂRAȘI AND NISPORENI WILL GET A JOB OR START A BUSINESS

A vocational guidance service for almost 500 unemployed young people was launched in Ungheni on 11 March 2020. Within the project carried out by the local “FĂCLIA” Association, young people from the western districts of the republic – Ungheni, Călărași and Nisporeni – who are not employed and not studying (Not in Education, Employment, or Training – NEET), will be supported to get a job or suitable training.

At the event attended young entrepreneurs and unemployed young people, representatives of local public authorities and partner organizations, as well as business people from Ungheni, Calarasi and Nisporeni.

The vocational guidance service in Ungheni, which provides its beneficiaries with services of counselling, training and professional integration, is developed within the Project “Socioprofessional integration for young NEET people”, within the project “Better social services”, funded by the European Union, co-financed and implemented by the Soros Foundation-Moldova.

The project promotes the economic, social and cultural rights of NEET youth in Ungheni, Calarasi and Nisporeni; organizes awareness-raising activities for 20 representatives of socio-economic actors, 30 representatives of civil society organizations and 3,000 young people. At the same time, 80 young people aged 15-18 from the mentioned districts will strengthen their capacities for active participation in society and the economy. The value of the project is 41,845 euros.
