Award event for energy efficiency promoters
Europe Café hosted the award event for energy efficiency promoters and the most active municipalities within the European Sustainable Energy Week by the EU Project “Covenant of Mayors Climate and Energy” Covenant of Mayors – East
The event was attended by Ms Magdalena Müller-Uri, Head of the Cooperation Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Moldova, Mr Constantin Borosan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and Irina Plis, National Expert of the Covenant of Mayors in Moldova.
An impressive number of citizens of all ages took part in the competitions and mobilised to spread the message of saving energy resources.
At the advice of the Covenant of Mayors, the students formulated proposals to make energy consumption more efficient and expressed, through photos, what each of us can do at school and at home to reduce consumption costs. In the photo competition “More energy efficient, more cool!” took part 31 students from the signatories of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy.
In the competition for the most active municipalities in the framework of Energy Day and Sustainable Energy Week 2022, 12 signatories of the Covenant of Mayors took part and carried out extensive educational activities in schools, kindergartens and in the community to promote energy efficiency.
