  • “United in diversity” Alley: EU Member States will showcase their support for the Republic of Moldova, highlighting the assistance they provide;
  • “EU for Moldova: Stronger Together” Alley: EU-funded projects will illustrate how they directly benefit its citizens;
  • EU Delegation pavilion hosting several large EU initiatives showcasing EU assistance;
  • “Moldova is Europe”: pavilion of the Government and Parliament of the Republic of Moldova presenting interactive activities and information about the European course of the country;
  • Youth Corner:
    • Explore Your Opportunities – Learn how to become an Erasmus+ student or get involved in national and international projects with non-governmental organizations.
    • Paint the Wall – Help paint Moldova’s future in the EU
    • Darts Quiz – Play, learn, and win prizes in a fun and interactive quiz game

    • (14:00 – 15:00) EuroMarket – A prize-winning competition full of surprises!
    • (15:10-15:50) Gala: “Clean Water for All. Goodbye, Plastic!” – Pupils from Lozova, Sireți, Pănășești, and Zubrești will take the stage to present their plastic reduction initiatives as part of the EU4Moldova: Local Communities program.
  • Children’s Corner – interactive and educational activities for children of all ages during the entire day, including:
    • Chemistry experiments
    • Drawing competitions & coloring area
    • Puzzles, Lego, and board games
    • Sports activities for plenty of energy

Over two-and-a-half days, ten Moldovan civil society organisations will join forces to co-design initiatives and pool their expertise, advancing democratic processes and delivering innovative solutions to shared challenges across the region. The lab is part of the regional Project “Resilient Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Region,” implemented by People in Need with support from the European Union. Guided by an experienced facilitator, participants will exchange lessons learned, form cross-border project teams and refine concrete proposals eligible for upcoming sub-grants. Interactive formats—speed-networking, “world-café” discussions and live pitching—will ensure lively peer learning and tangible outcomes that embody Europe Day’s spirit of unity and shared values.
Mid-day, open to students and academic staff of the Technical University only Lecture by Mr. Alberto Carlei, Head of the EIB Representation in Moldova, at the Technical University: ‘Discover the EU’s financial arm – a lecture on the European Investment Bank and its investment processes’, open to students and academic staff of the Technical University.

Europe Day in Ungheni will be celebrated with vibrant cultural events, community gatherings, and activities promoting European values and unity. The residents will celebrate with music, dances and exhibitions showcasing the diversity and richness of European traditions.

This event is organised by a group of geography teachers under the leadership of High School “Onisifor Ghibu” in Orhei.
16 May 09:00 Vocational School of Bubuieci, Chișinău Municipality, 25/2 Livezilor St. Open doors into the world of bees: “World Bee Day & Open Doors Day Event”
You are warmly invited to attend an educational and celebratory event hosted by the Vocational School of Bubuieci, with the support of Casa Albinei SRL, the National Association of Beekeepers of Moldova, the Local Public Administration of Bubuieci, the Embassy of Slovenia, the Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.

The event is dedicated to the fascinating world of bees and the professional opportunities in beekeeping, as well as other fields offered by the school: floriculture, gastronomy, and commerce. It also celebrates World Bee Day, held on May 20, 2025, commemorating the birth of Anton Janša, a Slovenian beekeeper and pioneer of modern beekeeping.

The activity will start at 10:30, near the Central Bus Station Căușeni and will gather 10 teams of 3 persons per team. The winning teams will receive prizes.
27 May 14:00 Chișinău, Europe Café Closing event of the Youth Minority Leaders Academy
The project is implemented with the financial support of GIZ and the EU (grant programme under the ‘EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment’ project). The project aimed at developing leadership among 100 young people from ethnic communities in Gagauzia, Taraclia, and the Basarabeasca district. Over 6 months, young people worked with experts and attended trainings and workshops on civic activism, political literacy, human rights, minority rights, and European standards in the field of national minorities.
1 June 18:00 Tighina Fortress in Tiraspol Concert “Disney Music” dedicated to children at the Tighina Fortress
The concert is organised within the European Union Confidence Building Measures Programme, implemented by UNDP Moldova.
