The project is designed to deliver the overall objective: to advance social cohesion in Moldova along intergenerational, diversity and cultural lines and the specific objective: to increase effective and constructive participation of diverse national minorities and youth in public debates, democratic processes and policy-making initiatives in Moldova. To achieve these objectives, the action focuses on facilitating constructive dialogue and effective participation of national minorities and youth in social, cultural, economic and political life to strengthen their sense of belonging but also of their civic responsibility—as a core European value. The action focuses on four areas – clustered under 4 outputs:

1) Building capacities around dialogue and participatory mechanisms to support participation of national minorities in decisions-making and policy making processes.

2) The second workstream under Output 2, aims to build capacities and facilitate reflective dialogue among the national minority groups on the strengths and challenges to inclusion, integration and social cohesion in Moldova.

3) The third workstream under Output 3 focuses on enhancing the capacities of young people in various areas to enable them to better engage in intercultural dialogue, and with diversity, and be more engaged in their community and country through active citizenship, advocacy and participation.

4) The fourth workstream under Output 4, will focus on capacities of media representatives engaged in this action to communicate sensitively, constructively and meaningfully about diversity in Moldova. This workstream aims to create alternative narratives about intercultural dialogue and diversity in Moldova while also engaging youth in communicating about their experience on social media.

The project aims to advance social cohesion in Moldova by fostering inclusive governance, strengthening minority participation, and promoting intercultural dialogue. It will support government institutions in developing more inclusive policies, empower minority groups to take part in decision-making, and engage young people in active citizenship and advocacy. At the same time, it will enhance the role of media and young communicators in shaping constructive narratives around diversity and inclusion, helping to build a more cohesive and participatory society.

Outcome 1: Increased effective and constructive participation of diverse national minorities and youth in public debates, democratic processes and/or policy-making initiatives in Moldova.
Increased awareness of governmental representatives on minority groups´ needs and effective policies for social cohesion and inclusion.
Output 2: Improved capacities of national minorities on effective communication with public authorities, participation in public debates and/or policy making.
Output 3: Increased capacities of youth on intercultural interaction, cross-community engagement and EU values and policies.
Output 4: Improved tools and methodologies of journalists and young communicators on the promotion of intercultural dialogue and social cohesion efforts
