Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs: call for intermediate organizations from Moldova
The European Union announces the call for the selection of local support organizations in the Erasmus Program for young entrepreneurs (Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs – Junior call).
The announcement can be found on the page of the Executive Agency for the European Council for Innovation and Small and Medium Enterprises (EISMEA), which is a body of the European Union implementing the European Single Market Programme.
Intermediary organizations will be responsible for recruiting and matching contractors. They will also promote the program and its benefits locally and assist young entrepreneurs on how to benefit from the program and gain international experience.
The objectives of the Intermediate Organizations are the following:
- to provide consulting services for young entrepreneurs who want to apply to the program, to develop sustainable, digital and resilient enterprises;
- to encourage the exchange of experience and information between entrepreneurs regarding the obstacles and challenges related to starting and developing businesses;
- facilitate market access for new entrepreneurs and those established in other participating countries;
- to support networking of entrepreneurs from participating countries and encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
To apply to the call, organizations must carefully consult the rules of participation, stipulated in the implementation manual for intermediate organizations.

Registration deadline: June 27, 2024
The budget of the consortia selected in the call is EUR 5 million. Approximately 5 transnational consortia will be selected, with a total of 30 beneficiaries.

Erasmus For Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange program that gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running companies in other participating countries in Europe.
The general goal of the program is to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit, to develop the international perspectives and competitiveness of European SMEs and to encourage potential start-up entrepreneurs and newly established micro and small enterprises in the participating countries.
