EU Delegation has the honour to invite you to a series of classical music concerts

EU Delegation has the honour to invite you to celebrate unity through art as an answer to the war in Ukraine along with young talented people and authentic music. Over 110 musicians from seven countries, Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, conductors, soloists and special guests will offer exceptional performances within the European Year of Youth communication campaign.

July 22, at 19.30, Organ Hall – Stradivarius Evening

Come to the Organ Hall to enjoy a spectacular concert by Brahms performed on the Stradivarius violin dated from 1716, an instrument from the collection of the National Bank of Switzerland. It will be followed by incomparable No. 9 Symphony by Antonin Dvořák. Let’s meet on July 22, at Organ Hall at 19.30.

July 23, at 19.00, Classical Music Evening at Butuceni

Come to Butuceni, Orhei to watch together 70 young talents from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Europe in the classical music concert conducted by Cristian Spataru. Take part in a manifesto for the cultivation and preservation of cultural values as the answer to the war in Ukraine and its consequences on the cultural heritage of this country. See you there at 19.00.

July 27, at 19.30, Classical music evening at Digital Park

110 talented young people from Europe, Republic of Moldova, Romania and Ukraine will offer a spectacular concert for all lovers of classical music. Come to Digital Park, Chisinau to listen to “Ode to Joy”, Ludwig van Beethoven’s most famous composition, – known also as the Ninth Symphony. The special guest of the evening is Gabriel Bebeselea, main conductor of the Cluj and Bucharest Philharmonic, co-founder of the Moldovan Youth Orchestra. The evening will be full of surprizes. July 30, at 19.30, Tighina Fortress, music from Oscar Movies

Discover cinematography through music. Young musicians from Europe, Republic of Moldova, Romania and Ukraine will offer a unique interpretation of film soundtracks by the most famous music film composers. The musicians’ artistry will teleport you to the Oscar films atmosphere. Come to Tighina Fortress on July 30, at 19.30 for an unforgettable evening.

The concerts are organized with the financial support of the European Union, in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Research, UNDP Moldova, East European Foundation, Sweden, Embassy of Netherlands, Romanian Cultural Institute “Mihai Eminescu”, Kaufland Moldova.
