The European Union provides EUR 3 million for the Republic of Moldova’s energy security

The European Union will provide an additional EUR 3 million to enhance the energy security of the Republic of Moldova. In this regard, a cooperation agreement was signed today with the Ministry of Energy, during the Ministerial Conference of the Partnership Platform for the Republic of Moldova.
Of the total, EUR 1 million will be used for the energy renovation of individual homes inhabited by families that are extremely vulnerable from an energy standpoint, and EUR 2 million will be allocated to support capacity building and the exchange of experience for state institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
The cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Energy was also signed by other development partners, who will also contribute to increasing Moldova’s energy efficiency and resilience.
