EU Talks in Rîșcani

The EU Talks series continues. On 24 October, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova engaged in discussions with residents from the city and region of Rîșcani on several key topics:

• The readiness of local authorities, entrepreneurs, and civil society to develop and implement EU-supported projects in the Rîșcani district;
• Funding opportunities in the context of Moldova’s accession negotiations with the EU;
• The sustainability of Local Action Groups (LAGs) and civil society in driving local development.

EU Ambassador in Chișinău, Jānis Mažeiks, addressed all the public’s questions and reaffirmed the European Union’s ongoing support for the Republic of Moldova.

This meeting is part of the EU Talks series, which will continue in various localities across Moldova. The project aims to foster greater awareness and direct engagement between Moldovan citizens and the accredited European diplomatic missions in Chișinău.
