Europe Day 2022 in Moldova – EU4Environment Green Economy: Solidarity for peace and a cleaner environment

The Europe Day 2022 in Moldova this year brings together all EU Member States, the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the EU funded projects, NGOs and the general public in joint efforts for Solidarity for peace! 

EU4Environment Green Economy adds its voice to the common actions oriented towards a green transformation of the country, for a clean and healthy environment, promotion of the circular economy, greening SMEs, Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production, eco-innovations, eco-labelling and biodiversity conservation. 

By strengthening the capacities of the Governmental authorities in Moldova and daily working with major beneficiaries in the domain, EU4Environment contributes to the greener decision making, creation of new green jobs, increasing energy and resource efficiency, also measured by the OECD set of the Green Growth Indicators, adapted for the country, with lessons learned and policy recommendations. These goals and objectives obtained results and future plans were shared with the high-level participants and visitors of the Europe Day 2022 celebration on May 14, within the European City on the central square of Chisinau.
