On 16 April, Chisinau becomes the regional hub of innovation and investment with Startup Moldova Summit 2025, one of the most important events in the region dedicated to business development.

The Summit will bring together over 1000 participants, speakers and investors from 30 countries, and is designed to provide inspiration, valuable opportunities, concrete strategies to all those interested: startup founders, entrepreneurs looking for funding, business professionals, investors or simply tech enthusiasts eager to learn about global trends in the field. During the event, participants will learn how to accelerate the development of their own business ideas or startups and attract funding, having direct access to the largest group of investors in the history of Startup Moldova Summit, with over 40 funders who have confirmed their presence.

Startup Moldova Summit is not only for startups. It is also a reference platform for established companies looking to accelerate the development of their teams with up-to-date information on key topics such as artificial intelligence and deeptech, product development, marketing, global sales, human resources and more.   • Sasha Vidiborsky (Atomico) – Partner at Atomico, the venture capital fund that has backed global projects such as Stripe, Deepl, Klarna and other world-class companies. 
  • Sijue Zhao (Booking) – Senior Strategy Manager at Booking.com, startup mentor. 
  • Marius Ghenea (Catalyst Romania Fund) – Partner in the venture capital fund Catalyst Romania, serial entrepreneur and business angel with successful investments in Eastern Europe, one of the Lions of the Arena of Lions TV show. 
  • Vasile Tofan (Horizon Capital) – Senior Partner at Horizon Capital, with investment experience in Ukraine and Moldova.

Masterclasses, networking, pitching and the chance to win $1.000.000 

In addition to special sessions of keynotes and panel discussions, masterclasses, side events, workshops and networking, one of the most awaited moments of the event is the National Pitching Competition – Startup World Cup Moldova, where local startups will compete for a place in the global finals in San Francisco, with a chance to win a prize of $1.000.000. 

Another novelty of the event will be the Investors Pitching – a session where investors will present their expectations for the areas and businesses they want to fund.  This will give founders and entrepreneurs a real insight into investor expectations, helping them to tailor their strategies to attract funding.
