Funded traineeship for young graduates at the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova

EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova invites young graduates interested in international relations to apply for a 6 months traineeship. The Delegation has two openings and is interested in one trainee starting in April 2024 and one starting in July 2024.

The trainees will be assigned to the Political, Press, and Information Section of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova and will learn about the work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in the Republic of Moldova.

The Political, Press and Information Section closely monitors the country’s progress with the EU integration process in the context of the European Council’s decision in December 2023 to open accession negotiations. It also follows Moldova’s compliance with the recommendations set forward in this process, and the country’s readiness to adopt and implement EU legislation. The Delegation promotes democratic values and supports the implementation of key reforms in the rule of law and a resilient society.

During their work, the trainees will support the Political, Press, and Information Section team in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting political, legal, and economic developments in the Republic of Moldova; gather data and carry out analytical tasks through independent research on specific issues in the fields of law, domestic political and economic affairs; contribute to organising events, meetings, and visits; and other.
