Grants for young entrepreneurs with elements of social entrepreneurship training
Young people in Chișinău, Bălți, and Cahul, aged 18 to 35, can benefit from grants for developing social enterprises up to MDL 95,000. The grants will be provided under the “SKYE Net – Network of Clubs for Empowering Youth through Skills and Knowledge” project, funded by the European Union and implemented by World Vision Armenia, IRIS Business Incubator, World Vision Georgia, and the Millennium Development Training Institute.
Under the SKYE Net project, selected participants will receive financial support for:
- strengthening entrepreneurial skills among young people in the regions of Bălți, Cahul, and Chișinău;
- ensuring the establishment and development of social enterprises;
- improving the business ecosystem in Moldova by supporting various types of enterprises with innovative approaches.
Participants in the SKYE Net project will receive grants ranging from MDL 20,000 to MDL 95,000 to implement their business models. The exact amount of the grant for each participant will depend on the business model presented and the justifications reflecting the financial support needs within each business model.
Applicants will be invited to participate in the “Business Model” training course, which includes both offline and online training, coaching, and mentoring. By the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their business models to a jury. After receiving financial support, participants will continue their engagement in coaching and mentoring programs for an additional 3 months. Additionally, they will have access to extensive networking opportunities.
