“I have come with a proposal to create a platform where the school students may identify teachers for curricular and extra- curricular lessons. Tens of school students graduate from the 12th or the 9th grade annually, and they need to get prepared for the graduation exams. It is always a problem to search and find a good teacher. Hence, we would like to develop a business and address/monetisethisissue”, RaduStrelciuc, Hackathon participant, mentioned.

Corina Andronic, Manager of EU4Moldova: Start-up City Cahul Project: “One of the Project priorities is to develop the entrepreneurial skills and competences of young people from the region. We intend to create many opportunities to support those who have innovative ideas and wish to improve the community life, just like this Hackathon. With the help of “EU4Moldova: Start-up City Cahul”, the region would become an innovative business community, with leaders, events and meetings, possibilities for networking, educational initiatives and programmes for start-ups, which would lay down the foundation for a local sustainable economy.”

EU4Moldova: Start-up City Cahul – Entrepreneurial Programme for Young People has been developed with the financial assistance of the European Union in partnership with Sweden and implemented by ATIC. The Hackathon was organised by XY Partners.
