Open dialogue about the EU with the residents of Vulcănești

Last week, the team from the EU Delegation to Chișinău visited Vulcănești. The public discussion with local residents provided an excellent opportunity to explore not only the EU’s investments in Moldova and the country’s European path as a candidate for EU membership, but also to address myths about the European Union.

The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, entrepreneurs, and residents keen to learn more about the EU. Our discussion centred on EU funding opportunities for Moldova, including the creation of new jobs and the mechanisms through which the European Union ensures the proper use of grants.

This visit to Vulcănești was part of the EU Talks series – a platform for open dialogue between EU representatives and the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
