Sféra Lectures with Victoria Viprada: Art dialogue at Europe Café

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Europe Café hosted the first meeting of the Sféra Lectures Club. The Sféra Lectures Club aims to bring together people interested in classical and modern art, culture and history, theatre, experiments with form and meaning, new media, and the fashion industry.

Saturday’s meeting brought together the local creative community – photographers, journalists, writers, painters and art lovers. The event’s theme was “Visual Art as a Language of Communication”.

The special guest of the event, Victoria Viprada, talked about her path in art, showing her creations. We have also learned more about the exhibitions she is planning shortly. The next one is planned in Germany.

Victoria Viprada is a multimedia artist specializing in art photography, video, and installations. Throughout her work, Victoria has explored visual media to create her alphabet of visual identity. Through photography and installations, Victoria embraces themes of intimacy, tactility, nature, presence, and nostalgia. In the spring of 2023, Victoria was awarded the “Valentina Rusu-Ciobanu” award from the Ministries of Culture of Moldova and Romania for her contribution to the field of visual arts.

We were happy to host a beautiful event that brought together people of different ethnicities and ages, united by their passion for art. Together we create communities, support diversity, and promote unity.
