The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Association of Women in Police and the International Police Association was signed at Europe Café

As the main EU information center in the Republic of Moldova, we support change and progress in the security sector.

That’s why, at the end of last week, we were pleased to host the signing event of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Association of Women in Police and the International Police Association (IPA Moldova) at Europe Café.

This partnership strengthens the collaboration between the two organizations, united by the same values of gender equality, inclusion, and the development of police officers. The partnership will involve professional support, participation in international projects, exchange of best practices, and the creation of a solidarity network.

This activity is part of the “Strengthening the Capacities of AFP” Project, supported by Sweden and DCAF – the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance. 

We welcome the new opportunities for the professional development of women in the police force, contributing to a stronger, fairer, and more diverse security sector.
