The mini-farm of Chiriac family, a model of business in the dairy sector

The Chiriac family’s mini-farm located in the village of Cealîc, Taraclia district, has recently turned into a real creative lab.

Thanks to EU support, the business was able to modernise its dairy processing and cheese production by purchasing a modular container and the appropriate equipment for it.

The equipment was purchased in the framework of the EU-LEADER Flagship Initiatives Fund 2020, which enabled the Chiriac family to upgrade their production from domestic to professional standards, optimise processes, operate in modern conditions and contribute to the development of a high-priority economic sector with vast potential – the dairy products sector.

Currently, Eudochia Chiriac and her husband are producing caciotta, gouda, paneer and other types of cheese, much to the delight of their customers.
