The Power of Civil Society Organisations: Debate with Young European Ambassadors

Last evening at the Europe Café, we discussed the mission of civil society organisations.

Young European Ambassadors gathered for another fishbowl debate to discover all the PRO and CON arguments for involving civil society actors and organisations in a country’s socio-political decisions.

When is it important to involve civil society other than in elections? When is it necessary? We listened to the active discussions of young people and came to some interesting conclusions.

As a reminder, Fishbowl is a medium to large group discussion strategy, where participants are divided into an inner and outer circle. In the inner circle, a discussion takes place while participants in the outer circle listen and take notes.

We look forward to the next debates and invite you to follow us so you don’t miss the next Young European Ambassadors event at the Europe Café.
