The “Unissued Diplomas” exhibition was launched at Moldova State University

Students who never graduated from the University. The exhibition “Unissued Diplomas” counts 40 diplomas of young people who studied, lived, and dreamed of a bright future, suddenly interrupted by Russian bombs.

The exhibition is open to the public at the USM until April 24. Free entrance. Later, it will be exhibited at the universities in Balti and Cahul. The exhibition was opened by the EU Ambassador in Chisinau, Jānis Mažeiks, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, Marko Shevchenko, the Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Dan Perciun, the Vice-Rector for economic-financial activity and international relations USM, Vladimir Dolghi, Head of the National Congress of To Ukrainians from Moldova, Dmitrii Lecartev.

“Unissued Diplomas” is an international project, presenting the stories of 40 Ukrainian students killed in the war. In 2023, the exhibition was organized in more than 110 universities around the world. This year, it will be presented in the Republic of Moldova in several universities throughout the country.

This initiative is organized by the European Union in the Republic of Moldova.
